Daal by myself
This week I have been saying goodbye to SO many of my friends, leaving me feeling as if I should sing out loud my key karaoke song I used to belt out in my apartment in Boston, "All by myself." Ask Emily. This song is my specialty.
I miss my lovely friends but know we will be in touch and possibly our paths will cross.
So, tonight I cooked daal all by myself as a sign of one of the many things London has taught me. To cook Indian food. My first time to cook daal alone, and I must say it was yummy. There you go. I am learning I can do it daal by myself.
Hello dear friends
(Don't you love this card! My friend Kristina sent it to me a while back, and I have been wanting to blog on it forever now.)
I am back. After a long, inconsistent absence. Hello my dear, lovely friends. Last week I finished my thesis closing the door on one of life's adventures. You know what they say, when one door closes another door opens. Am unsure of what is behind the door or even what the door looks like, but it will no doubt bring a set of new and exciting adventures. Full of wonderful people. God and life have blessed me with this thus far and will undoubtedly will bless me again.
And, now I say hello dear friends. I will hopefully be writing more regularly on this thing. There is much I want to catch you up on and much I want to express and share with you of my time in London. So, there may be a bit of back logging. Please forgive. But, I hope you will enjoy as I take a walk through the memory lane of this year.
All love to you wherever you may be.
